Just testing my new signature

eleet-2k2 21st September 2001 19:23

It's a cool sig! :D

WolfieD 21st September 2001 19:24

its too large. check the guidelines, which can be found at http://forums.winamp.com/announcement.php?s=&forumid=1

other than that, nice.

did you make it yourself?

Matt 21st September 2001 19:26

There are two things wrong here.

1. Instead of starting a thread, you could have looked at your previous post to see your sig. It is updated in all posts.

2. You included a poll. A useless, unnecessary poll at that

:)

Kaboon 21st September 2001 19:27

Yuk, the worst combination... a "take a look at my sig" thread combinated with an (useless) poll.

Anyway I think that it's a bit too big. It's nice though.

[edit]What Wolfie and Matt (2nd edit) said! :D[edit]

WolfieD 21st September 2001 20:14

i said it first but then edited my post because i dont like being teh ashsole.

asshole 21st September 2001 20:28

You might want to check it for errors. I see one .

Bilbo Baggins 21st September 2001 20:30

Not a sig testing thread. Please not a sig testing thread...

mark e 21st September 2001 20:30

WoW

Wow - Coolie

papadoc 21st September 2001 20:38

Looks like an enlarged image of my avatar,
:) which came before your sig.

But that's ok since I don't own a copyright on the image.

Bilbo Baggins 21st September 2001 20:54

What does that ribbon mean? Is it a solidarity thing for the WTC disaster?

chiquita chad 21st September 2001 21:48

Jed 22nd September 2001 01:21

LOL

LOL
the ribbon is for WTC and the pentagon and pensylvania now come on people. Spread the American Spirit!!!! i think we should all have that ribbon in out Signatures!!

chiquita chad 22nd September 2001 01:30

then we would all be violating sig limitation rules... just use the sig i made for you

rm' 22nd September 2001 01:33

Call me cocky, but I think my avatar is the ultimate symbol of US power. If you wish to show solidarity, use it. For some interesting, yet delighfully useless monetary facts, take a field trip to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Anacific 22nd September 2001 01:34

GAWD! This thread is f***ing lame:mad: Maybe, this should be pointed out in guidelines NOT to make stupid threads like that.

Sorry, I'm not in the mood today :(

is it even possible to be in the mood for these type -o- threads?

papadoc 22nd September 2001 02:13

I suppose I could have made my ribbon into a sig last week.
I just thought it looked allot better as an avatar under my name.
There were plenty of patriotic sigs around but few patriotic avatars.
But no matter where you show your colors, be proud.

binary hero 22nd September 2001 20:45

i might finish my sig soon!
does ne1 know where I can get a photo of some lightning?

eleet-2k2 22nd September 2001 21:11

Solarias: Shorten your f***ing sig man!! It's huge!

But it's only a buck dude! Couldn't you have made it a twenty or a fifty? Or are you doing one of those 10-10-220 ads? ;) :D

And Jed, it should be: "I'm too  to have a signature!" (Although I'm not sure even that's correct in your case.) ;)

mr_sax 23rd September 2001 08:57

n0! because you can buy chocolate bars with a dollar... and that's the ultimate power.. http://www.sargessmilies.homestead.c...cidDM/grin.gif

Well, I originally had a $100, but Ben is no contortionist. G. Washington looks the best in 50x50. Besides, the one dollar bill is THE symbol of US currency. one hundred 1 dollar bills looks better than one 100 dollar bill :)

binary hero 23rd September 2001 09:27

OK, i'll shorten it

binary hero 23rd September 2001 10:14

whaddya all think of MY new sig now?? shorter, smaller, and i like it (thanks Geroge for the image, well indirectly)

SSJ4 Gogitta 23rd September 2001 10:35

I bet its hosted by angelfire...

:D

The $ bill is better than all the other notes. The US government refuse to change it too much (like the British government has done with £5s, 10s and 20s - most of our notes, only 50 remains) becasue it is seen as a symbol. They think that if many changes are made, even to add more security, then it could seriously devalue the currency. Millions of foreigners litterally keep $ bills under their bed because they are seen as stable. The economic repercussions would be interesting to see if it were changed. This is not the case so much with all other US notes

Bilbo Baggins 23rd September 2001 11:56

I think that changing the pictures on currency is a good thing, as it reflects the changing and evolving world that we live in.

But perhaps it is time for the £50 to embrace the technological age, and have Bill Gates on it :p

SSJ4 Gogitta 23rd September 2001 12:12

US Currency rules...
1 Dollar Bill (fr)

2 Dollar Bill (fr)

5 Dollar Bill (fr)

10 Dollar Bill (fr)

20 Dollar Bill (fr)

50 Dollar Bill (fr)

100 Dollar Bill (fr)

500 Dollar Bill (fr)

5,000 Dollar Bill (fr)

10,000 Dollar Bill (fr)

And whoever wrote on the back of that 500 bill deservers to get their head blown off.. >:\

binary hero 23rd September 2001 12:25

of course it's angelfire hosted. 's the only webspace i can actually remember my password to :). but what do you think of it?? good, bad or just plain ugly?
and where the hell has Xerxes gone??

binary hero 23rd September 2001 12:29

aaaah, that's why.
i'll be beck soon, i'll just go and fill up the angelfire server with crap.

SSJ4 Gogitta 23rd September 2001 12:34

looks good (via copy and paste)

But you DO realise that Anglefire DOES NOT ALLOW IMAGE LINKING....

binary hero 23rd September 2001 13:09

well, they managed to allow my last sig image (the 'S') so I assumed that they would allow this one.

Jed 23rd September 2001 13:44

ok

ok

fish 23rd September 2001 14:58

Just to let everyone know who doesn't, you're able to turn off signatures in the more than likely case that you don't even care about someone's little Render Coulds > Scanline ditto. :)

It certainly does. The monotoness of it is a certain plus... not like Canadian money. With all the colors of the rainbow, our currency ends up looking like Mickey Mouse money. Not to mention the pic of the Queen on it
