Actually, in the US and Canada, bills over $100 are not printed anymore to combat money laundering problems. If you bring those bills to a bank they will be taken out of circulation immediatly. :(
On the radio last week: Somewhere in the US somebody made a deposit at a bank, which strangely enough did not catch the attention of the teller: A one million dollar bill. :D I reckon that teller was in quite a bit of trouble by the time the bank found out. |
