just because they are downloaded form winamp.com doesn't mean they are made by nullosft, they are thrid party plug-ins

delete them, they are usualy the problem

peter 23rd September 2001 20:57

go to winamp/plugins, delete gen_nomad.dll

XeoNFTP 23rd September 2001 21:12

there is no gen_nomad.dll in my plugins directory ...

Sawg 23rd September 2001 21:21

delet all other third party plug-ins

heck COMPLEAATLY un-install and re-install Winamp

w00t! .. i found the problem .. it was a general plugin .. infact .. it was the titlebar plugin .. damn .. i liked that one the most .. =X .. infact ... i just read the readme thing .. and i quote ..

" When you exit Winamp, sometimes the plugin remains loaded: this is most noticeable when you try to start Winamp again and it immediately bombs with an access violation. "

the moral of the story : read the damn readmes =X

thanx for the help guys
