I'd like some help
 

I like this new version, color variant, whatever..
but I don't want to change the PL buttons, and the button itself is too small for the normal 3 letter label, .. so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for to make it one letter (which I may likely end up doing) or should I just say screw it and make the buttons smaller... you decide

forever, you can make them a little bigger by squeesing the 3 pixel band on the left of each button into the image (as in make the button 3 pixels to wide and copy the overlap into the 3 pixel bands. may not help, but its an idea

or you could try mini icons like these instead of words :)

I'll try and see if I can move them over to put the words next to the button, but they're already partially into that 3 pixel area you speak of. I was pretty hype on having the drop shadow showing when you click... i'm too tired to think at this point
I figure my two main options are go with symbols and single letters for to label, or make the button smaller.
one is more physical work, the other is more mental work...

know the feelig, the very thought of picking up my graphics pen for ''one final adjustment before i go to sleep'', is something that drives me to putting on heaphones and radiohead, and repeatedly bashing my head off the keyboard in the hope of pressing ctrl+alt+del..

LOL yeah or actually falling asleep on the keyboard and waking up with the home keys indented in your forehead

I like this new version a lot.

As regards the playlist buttons--there is nothing that says the bottom button has to be the same as the rest of the buttons, so you could make that one slightly bigger, and put the three letter word in it, while putting single letters in the popup buttons. (Just one idea.)

i think she manages it becuz a lot ofher skins are similar in design so she's developed a quick qay of doing her ow little style

There are no 1,3 & 5.

there never were versions 1 3 and 5, its always been 2, 4 and 6
the only reason it has versions at all is because the first obsidian was updated and needed a number to republish it cause it was when it was faster to resubmit than to update in the winamp database

Nini, this is the absolute LAST Obsidian. It is also the last color variation I ever do to one of my skins. Can't please all the people, might as well please yourself, eh?
