does anyone know if it is now possible to drag and drop from one winamp to another

You can't drag and drop playlist entries from one wa to another... You can, however, open an "open file(s)" dialog in one wa and drag a selected file into another wa :)

It would be a nice addition to make in WA3. I'm not going to complain if it doesn't appear, though. I'd imagine the calls to Windows for that would be complex.
