Some Suggestions

i would like to see some of these features added to the skin and plug-in sections (if you want this in wishlist them move it there):

1) a bookmark feature

2) the ability to jump pages at a time --> something like this at the bottom of each skin/plug-in category:

jump to page: 1 2 3 4 5 ..... 100 101..... 200 (you get the idea)

3) a working search option

4) a more eloborate featured skin section (i don't know just more of them, i guess)

5) featured artist (artist of the month or something)

6) an actual separation of generated (skinner) skins and the rest

7) maybe a profile page for each artist like we have in the forums

8) a search only 5 star skins, or four star skins, etc. option

9) a fair rating system.......

ok i know some of these things are already going into effect but i don't care i listed 'em anyways

i would like to see the skin/plugin pages become a more active and fun place to be (thanks for reading) :)

You forgot this one...

9) Get NS to employ someone to make all these changes, oh hang on the web dev team has gone and it takes a month to fix the smallest fault, what do you think the chances of major changes like that taking place?

Sad truth I'm afraid.

As soon as AOL starts to make money off skins, then someone will no doubt get that gig.

does winamp accept volunteers? i'm sure a lot of people around here would be willing to help....... oh well

Not the kind of thing you tend to do if your a multi million dollar company, give members of the general public access to critical blocks of code to the site. Would you?

Bop 4th October 2001 18:53

nay, sounds like a bad idea.... oh well again (maybe when everthing get up and running again, i'll rant about these things once more)

*afterthought* what about the mods?

What about them?, were still general public at the end of the day, yes we have access to certain parts of the site that average joe dosn't but it's still limited.
