2.77: mb.ini?

VERSION HISTORY:

Winamp 2.77:
* mb.ini skin support (Winamp/MBOpen)
What's this? If it's supposed to be a replacement for mbinner.txt, my tests show it doesn't work.

Create a file, mb.ini, in either a skin directory or .wsz skin archive.

in the file, put:

[Winamp]
MBOpen=http://www.fdiv.org/

Where "http://www.fdiv.org/" is whatever URL you want launched when the skin is switched to. I'd guess this is for promo skins. I hope this doesn't lead to annoying pop-ups.

Thank you very much, bcheck.

Tried it and it worked. You can also use it with the MBinners from MikroAMP. Just change the winampmb.txt to winampmb.htm and drop that and your picture.bmp in a folder (Plugins) and adjust the mb.ini to point to the file instead of a web page.

ie:
[Winamp]
MBOpen=C:\Program files\Winamp\Plugins\winampmb.htm

my question... can you have it point to c:\windows\temp\winampmb.txt
isn't that where skins are temporarily unzipped to? and um...who's going to unzip a file, move it to a plugin folder to make it work? I mean this is good for those of us who are skinning, what about those who are not?

find a script that points to the unique temp folder (yes, each skin gets their own now) where your skin is and sure thing you can.
