ive noticed some really really nice skins about the place over the months ive actually been here, i was wondering.., anyone wanna join me in something a little harder.., a windows shell perchance?
either something to match their winamp skin, or something to try and make a winamp skin to match, either way, it should look nice :)

anyway, as for this thread, i want the skinners from the skin love community (see mod, its relivent, dont move the thread!) to post a screenshot of thier desktop so i have an idea of your personal prefrence in colours, layout etc

not actual pictures of course, that would be FAR too cheeky :)

I'm not going to post mine, it looks like standard windows done up in pink. Usually its done up in blue but the notion struck me recently and I went with pink.

As for your desktop! geez... thats what I would call eccentric

i would post my desktop up, but i wanna wait till my LiteStep theme is finished before uploading, and windowblinds dont like my system so i just got standard windows windows,

I won't upload mine (normal windows, fli7e's walpaper on one and a National Geografic polar bears wallpaper on the other partition(guess which one is mine :D)). But I have an idea, how about making a skin suite !!!

morpheous is pissing me about. as usual.

they are shell replacements, though ive personally ripped the litestep source and started working on it myself (since it is open source anywhoo), currentlky working on showavi.dll, well, basically it just plays a specified avi as the background image, also, working on a voice recognition prog using a microsoft sdk i have, still lots to do, if anyone wants to help work on Cailis OS_SDK, simply email me with what you can do to help and ill get in touch, going to take shell replacement a step further
