library comparable to MusicMatch Jukebox
Maybe I am just missing something, but as far as I know, Winamp does not have a very good setup for sorting music. I really like the music library setup on music match, it is very easy and convient to sort your files with (anyone used it?). However, as a program I like winamp better. I know you can make playlist in winamp, but it just doesn't compare to music match's file setup.
Does anyone know if there are definite plans to have a library setup for the winamp 3.0? |
A media library is already in Winamp 3, which is still in alpha but works pretty good.

Thank you for the info.
And sorry for posting the same thread twice. |
Winamp 3 has a new media library, yes. I'm not too fond of any music library, though. I just sort my files by directory and add the ones I want. If you want a musicv library, though, the one in WA3 should satisfy you.
MusicMatch is crap. |
You want to sort your songs in Winamp? Add them all to the list and do either Sort By Title or Sort By Filename :)

Thank You Thank You
This has me excited to no end. I was always someone who ran back and forth between three players, Sonique, Music Match and Winamp. Sonique for the incredible Graphical Interface, Music Match for an awesome library cause its damn hard to sort out my MP3 (just dont have the time) and Winamp because, well, frankly its just a superior program. Now I am jumping up and down because WA3 has The graphics of Sonique, the Library of Music Match and so much more. It feels like Christmas, cant wait for the final to come out (tired of crashing my computer on bugs from the beta).
