I can't submit my skin

When I tried to choose categories for a skin, I clicked on the arrow for the different categories but there wasn't anything there. I tried to submit it and it wouldn't let me without choosing the categories. What's wrong?:confused:

The database suffers from these occasional hicups, leave it a day or so and try again.

If the DB is screwy there will be no one around tonight to fix it, so it'll have to wait 'till the morning, check back then.

Thank you. I tried to submit the skin about 5 hours later, and it worked fine:)

I can't even get in to the Members Area!

I tried to get in today to upload. I asked in Skin Love but of course I check here too. So I'll ask. Is the Database still broke? (Meaning that I can't upload a skin still?) It's been about a month since I last got on here. Back then there was something about the Database being broken. I tried to review a skin and it said "Our Database is b0rken" (cute, BTW) would that mean that's why I'm getting a message when I log in that I do not have the "correct permissions"? (or something like that...) The page has a pic of the silouhette <sp?> of Mike the llama and a red circle with a white line through it. I didn't do anything but try to go to the Members Area and I did that when I signed up in September.

I'm asking all this because I'd REALLY like to upload my two skins that I recently made to share...

this happened to me a few weeks ago. Just wait a few days. It should be fixed then.

if you get the "insufficient user permissons" error message, close all browser windows that you have open, re-open one, head back to winamp, then the skins section, then the submit a skin tab, you should now find yourself in the developers area.

It's a problem with authenticating cookies on your browser.

Documented about a gazillion times in these tech support forums by the way;)

I did just what you said and I now have 2 skins waiting for publishing! My Ichijouji Ken skin and my Link skin. Thanks for the help! ^.^ :D
