Also, I'm off to Rome tonight, so progress will be slow, but I will read the thread.

Nah, sorry. I'm using a different base skin than the NSDN, and I haven't got round to the Shuf/Rep but they're in the same file as EQ/PL which I modified from this base, so it shows through. Phew! :D

I like it. The titlebar is cool.

It's so nice to see people working on functional skins for a change instead of crazy dark metallic whatevers.

Not much happening in it.. feels lost amongst the other great skins out there, even at this stage.
Keep trying tho.

change the c buttons for sure. using the normal buttons makes your skin look totally lame. it'll look 1000x better after you make your own buttons

I know you're not joking.:mad: He's not going to use the original buttons, but hasn't gotten around to them yet.

skinme! forgive my lack of response on this one, I'm not much for flat skins. I guess its ok, but its not my field of expertise :)

Thanks for all your comments. I would like to point out to the more intellectually-challenged of us that anything that looks baseskin-ish is something that I haven't got round to. YET! :D

Do we think that I should have a little pattern in the background? If so, everywhere or just fading in in certain places? Also, names would be welcome.

ok now, see this! this I like. It looks nice and cluttered, but not so much that it loses style. You've won me over Skin!!

change the logo in bottom right to like a winamp sign all orange and black lines like the rest of your skin.

My only suggestion.... for now

The bottom bar seems empty to me, but, on the other hand...

Are the labels (control buttons, song progress, visualisation etc) under everything for the intellectually challenged as well? lol

Thanks everybody. The reason for the labels (like Forever said) is otherwise it looks too empty.

With the Winamp logo - I tried but it doesn't look to nice w/o the shading perhaps I'll tinge it orange.

nice skin.. a real skinme styled skin.. :D just like connectX style.. way to go.. maybe throw in some color ad make it a connect serries ;)

I know the area between PREAMP and 60HZ is bare, but as soon as I have a name and a logo, there'll be something there. Any ideas for a name? I have a pretty good idea of the style of logo.

Decided to change the name to skinme! orange and update the title tab of the main window and the easteregg! Will post in a few the changes. More suggestions please.
