how do i get rid of chaos bar?
 

how do i get rid of the chaos bar (where it says OAIDV right next to where the time is displayed)? i can't seem to find it in any of the .bmp files

Hit Alt+S, find display under options and uncheck Always show clutterbar. The Actual bitmaps are in the main titlebar bitmap on the right side.

Just paste that partof the background from the main.bmp onto each of the bars in the title.bmp.

It doesn't get rid of it...but it makes it look exactly like the background so that you can't see that it's there.

the clutterbar is in titlebar.bmp, on the right :)

i'm still not sure what you want to do though

Or you could crop the right side out of the bitmap to save file space.
