Sharing problem
Okay... Now this is weird.
I've been running microshaft's Age of Empires II for a while now. I found a way you could disable the sound in it, and did so. from there, I began to run winamp and play the game with music. AOEII uses mp3s for all of its sounds, and everything was peachy. Well, like all microshaft products, AOEII occasionally crashes:mad:. It did so while winamp was running, and took the sound with it. Now, I can only get winamp to output sound when I am actually in AOEII. I cannot, despite my efforts of uninstalling everything and reinstalling it (save the OS itself), get control of the audio back. Help! |
Confusingness abounds....
Alrighty, now it gets wierder.... I installed the beta of WA3, and it fixed the problem. WA2.77 works just fine. Go figure.:)
