No sound. Just upgraded to XP

I just upgraded to XP.

I can load the file and it shows up in wimamp. Time clock moves but I get no sound. Is there an update needed or something else??

Windows installers are notorious for choosing the wrong drivers for your hardware. Go to the website of the manufacturer of your soundcard and download and install the latest drivers.
