MP3 Playback is disgusting
 

My mp3 play back on the computer is so bad and i cant explain it
i play music videos/vcds/svcds
all sound good

then i trun on winamp or wmp its all screwd up for mp3s

i cant explain this

i have the sound blaster live 5.1 and the cambridge soundworks fps2000digital

Have you tried updating the drivers from the manufacturer's website?

i have updated all drivesr
infact
even downloaded another mp3 codec

i tried mplayer 2 and it does just fine

i think in eed to find out how to change wmp and winamp to use a different mp3 codec

Winamp does NOT use the Windows MP3 coded, it uses its own decoder in_mp3.dll in the winamp\plugins directory.

It still sounds like a problem with your drivers. Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX.
