Help!!
 

I created some .WAV files by Creative WaveStudio. And I saved them as Mpeg Layer 3 type.
I can play these .WAV files in Winamp v2.7 Full. But when I played them in Winamp v2.77. It shows me "Unable to start playback. Missing codec or unsupported format." (Title: Nullsoft Waveform Decoder v2.0 error)
:( What can I do? Thank you!

well if you still have the original .Wav files then if you use the windows program sound recorder and just change the compression type to mpeg layer 3 and add the .mp3 extension to the file name it will converst it with a very high compression and there is no loss of sound quality in winamp 2.77.good luck m8.

If they are already MP3 layered WAV's, then all you have to do is change the extension from WAV to MP3 (simply by renaming them in Explorer)

Either that, or install the correct ACM system codec
(reinstalling Media Player usually fixes this)
