Will Winamp 3 ever run in a P-166,32MB RAM machine ?
B'cos I would like to download it if it would.:confused:

it will. we dont suggest it.

i'm running it on a 333mHz processor with 192mb ram, and it works just fine.

doesn't hurt to try. it wont fry your processor.

I ran it at school on the library computer(s), P233 MMX/32MB, it ran but it wasn't exactly speedy:P

if you limited it to only the main window and playlist, without crossfade. i'd bet it'd be pretty speedy.

dunno, i'll have to try it out on tuesday when I'm back in study hall:)

I did that already, thats the first thing I do after installing WA3, I get rid of the things I don't use, like the script manager and database explorer:P

fucker!!! i hope it will run on a 486x33Mhz with 4 MB RAM when finished or else it would truely suffer from the Microsoft syndrome
