They better keep rambling on to catch up to the goal of using all the space. They have only used:

at 1 byte per word, your website would have to have 20,000,000 letters and an average of 5 letters per word would mean you would have to have 4,000,000 words on your site, but remember HTML tags also count as 1 byte per word (ex. <a href="http://www.winamp.com> Winamp </a> would count as 43 letters or 43 bytes)

have fun in your quest! :)

400 million digits is the most ive seen on the web... thats a shitload.. it'd be about 433 MB of numbers...  :D

what exactly does pi stand for? and how was it created?

griffinn 4th December 2001 06:17

pi stands for the area of the unit circle (i.e. radius = 1). It also stands for the circumference of a circle of unit diameter (i.e. radius = 0.5).

When the ancient Greeks discovered that the two numbers coincide, the gods got so angry at them that they stripped the Greeks of their wisdom and condemned the whole civilization to a life of constructing silly white seaside resorts and eating nothing but olives.

SSJ4 Gogitta 4th December 2001 06:21

er... the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter sounds better...

The answer will always be Pi...

Pi is also 180 degrees..
