Wishlist: File rename from inside playlist
 

Hi,

I sometimes download MP3 files and the filenames are quite messed up (i.e. not the way I like them).

Here's my suggestion: say you get such a filename and want to rename it. It would be nice if I could right click on the file in the playlist select Rename and then get a dialog box. This should have a regular text box for the file name. Also it should have the fields from the ID3v1 amd ID3v2 (artist, trck name, album, track number, etc.) available for quick inserting into the filename.

I like this idea. I can completely relate. This is one of those gonna get implemented after core functionality but damn I can't wait for this! This will make Winamp3 the best ever!

wow.. with this implemented we will never need to use explorer for winamp again! sounds like a positive step towards a more winampy os! :)
