I miss my cable and wtf?
 

I'm not goingto be here much over the hols I'm affraid, I haven't been here for a week and I'm missing you all already .:mad:. I'm back at home and not at uni with my cable connection, 56k really does suck major arse! I don't think I'm going to be able to take it for long.

Anyway, I got a really lame e-mail the other day from geocities. My first site I made was on geocities and I made it at the start of this summer. Then I went over to F2s which is where I put everything like images etc and host my website. I'd all but forgotten about the original site until I got this:

Now bugger me if I know who the hell has been going there. Check it out, it's crap and useless. I have absolutly no idea what's happening with it and thus I am baffled. I thought it was funny tho :D

They have said that to make you feel good. They really mean "your site is shit, and we don't want it on our servers. Your a loser."

Or they ahd a crash on their servers and lost all your data.. And now are looking through their back-ups cuz they wouldn't want to get a bad review by you..

That what I was thinking, but I got sad so I thought they were thinking "Your site is so winderful and our servers are too weak and weedy to handle all your devoted followers"

My guess would be, because of the pictures on your site. With search engines like Google, that can specifically search for images, you have some that people might find interesting. Also, you have some popular wallpapers, which people might get the links to in search engines also. One of them is a bad link. The link to the Redsky wallpaper, is wrong, and points to the PYRE wallpaper.

I see why the site is so popular now :p

anyways i started my computer up and our cable was back. ATT seems to like West Coast people. I don't know how they are handeling other Excite Customers but they like us.

If you think 56k is bad. The week and a half without cable i think i was running almost 14.4 on nocharge and getting d/ced every 15 minutes at night time.....

with the girls, i can understand one..that one in blue is hot!

Phily Baby, at the bottom of your site where it tells information about the viewer's computer, something is wrong. It says my current resolution is 1280x960 which is correct, but it says my max resolution is 1280x932. Your max res can't be smaller than your current res. And my max is 1280x1024. How does it detect that stuff anyway?

I have no idea how it is done except that it is some java script. i know everything sucks on it but everything that is there is also here ;)

I had a load of the girl in blue but I formatted the wrong drive once and lost them all :mad:. They got a whole lot saucier too ;) :o

I agree... 56K does suck: after being spoiled by a T1 connection at school

my cable has over twice the downstream bandwidth of a T1 :D
