Trouble launching a server using Linux

It appears when i try and launch the shoutcast server.. im getting the following error msg "<12/22/01@04:00:48> [main] error opening source socket! FATAL ERROR!".. does anyone out there have any suggestions on why this maybe occuring?

Are you behind a firewall? Make sure the Shoutcast port and the above port are opened.
