On Demand Streaming - User limit
 

Hi,

i want to build a Shoutcast Server simply for serving On-demand-Music. To Prevent a collapse of the Network connection i want to limit the number of users who can connect. I found a parameter meaning something like this in the Config-File. But when i run the server and connect from a client, the server displays a message that the client has connected und the number of users stays at 0.
So more uusers than the limit I entered may use the server.

Does anyone has a solution? Maybe there exists another parameter for this case.

btw: On the HTML-Inferface, the connection will also not be shown.

The server runs under Linux.
