i am using psp 7 and animation shop to make my animated cursors and they all are messed! they always have little grey dots to the right of the cursor. it almost looks like static. everytime i open winamp, the "static" looks different. anyone know what the problem is? if you want to see what i mean i have attached the latest skin that i am working on which contains the cursors.
thanks

ok couple of things
I downloaded your skin and never saw the static cause it crashed my computer twice

so I went ahead and opened your cursors

here's the problem (which i fixed)
Cursors MUST BE 32x32 pixels

yours were all sorts of weird sizes
I went ahead and fixed it - was pretty simple but I don't feel like going over how I did it
here's your fixed copy and in the future remember to use a canvas size of 32x32 - the areas you don't use are transparent anywayz

Nice skin by the way.

P.S. you're still missing Titlebar cursors for the main, eq, and PL - none others that I noticed though

thanks! i had no idea there was a size the cursor had to be. (i guess i should have realized it, but no i'm stupid)
just curious forever, is something going on w/ your computer, or was it something in my skin that made your cpu crash?

well, I downloaded your skin and loaded winamp and attempted to apply the skin - the main and stuff came up real quick with no problem but as soon as I tried to move my mouse over it I got an error that says something like "Winamp caused an error in ????.dll" so I can only assume that when winamp tried to read the cursors, found they were the wrong size, and crashed. Just happens it crashed hard enough to cause my whole system to freeze. Of course I also assumed it was a problem with my system first, so I rebooted and reloaded winamp and same thing. So I decided to just open the zip and check out the cursors. Once I resized the cursors, it worked fine, no problem.

So I don't expect it will happen again - not really a problem with your skin itself (cause I looked for files with problems and found none) - just a problem with winamp trying to read pixels that didn't exist.

Windows read them fine - if you check your folder with your original cursors, you'll see that windows just resized them, by the shape of the icon. When I opened them though, they looked fine.

Hope this bit of rambling helped you :)
