Morpheus and eDonkey2000 are the big ones around my office.

I know you can't really find much popular music (that is, music that's played on the radio, anyways) at mp3.com, but I've found lots of good electronic and trance music there. :)

Winmx Rules

This is just my opinion:winmx is the best because you dont
have any adds to bother you.No pop ups either. You cn also adjust upload
and down load bandwidth, lie about you connection(if thats your thing),
ignore unwanted users, and get 100+ returns on your searches(depending
on availibility)and it is 100% compatible with winamp :winamp: :) Check it out. Any questions?

what I wan't is WinMX 3..... the website says nearly finished.....but that was a long time ago, nothing has happened

I love winmx! Http://www.winmx.com It is very similar to Napster.

The cool feature is it saves your incomplete downloads so you can finish your downloads later on or by another user.

I have been downloading some really cool old Bruce Springsteen concerts lately, stuff you cant find in the stores.

ps winmx question: What setting do you all keep your bandwith at? Why does winmx change the numbers after your name everytime you log in? Is it better to use more servers?

I often have trouble downloading, i usually get disconnected. And WinMX doesn't support multisource downloading, which is important for high download speeds.

I'm not sure I understand this statement.
I use WinMx all the time with a wireless internet connection.
No phone lines or cable lines.
I can download multiple files from multiple users at the same time.
Or multiple files from the same user if they'll let them through.
Or a combination of the two.
And I can download music, image, and or video files simultaneously.
It's all in the settings.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean.
:D

Thanks sawg
This made me research multisource downloading.
Now I know what it is.
WinMx v3.0 will have multisouce downloading capability,
if they'll ever get off their butts and release it.
I know a little more today than I did yesterday.
This is good...
:D
