lol - im at it again...and I decided on a pic skin for a change :P

its still in very very early development lol

tell me what you guys think of the colour - and any other aspects you like/dislike or want to see - any feedback would b good :P

I envy you Caz - you're spitting them out pretty fast and I'm in the midst of a skinning block - started about 15 different skins today and trashed them all ::sigh::

OMG that's awesome, It's Ayanami, can't go wrong there! Color shceme is nice, like the bar, but te water affect seems to start too late, it should be right beneath the buttons I think. Looks great, much love hope you finish potato lucky zucchini!

lol dont worry forever - it wont last long...i dunno whats up with me lol ive never been this fast at makin em :P GTH was my fastest skin ever - it only took me a few days.

I tried it (moving the image and the cbuttons) but somehow it didnt seem to look right...sorry.
Im going to see if I can sorta 'hide' the seam using the eq ttile or the 'on' and 'auto' buttons

Looks nice, i like the slow fade of yellow to the pic. At this oint i think anything you do is good, just kkep on trucking and get us a product, cause that looks really nice!

One of my friend already have a skin with the same pic and the same color scheme...it funny how to see that 2 skin might be similar...anyway.....look great...

hey, hey, hey, lets all make sure we don't get upset. I'm not over-reacting, just clarifying : Great minds think alike! Good taste is good taste, and there aren't really that many colors that can go with rei, so it was bound to happen. just chill, cazsius wasn't ripping, it looked beautiful before it was even enitially developed, we all know it's your own work.

but the eq window won't work out like that. there's gonna be a bar hiding parts of the water reflection.

Sorry bout b4 guys - I overeacted a little...guess my mood wasnt very good earlier lol.
Bout the eqbars - I know...but i'll try to make it look as tasteful as possible, so I dont ruin the image too much.
I could do with a few ideas on how to manage the eq layout - the bars are giving me a few problems...and i dont wanna make the skin look too angular...any suggestions?

does that gradient fill look a little blocky? or is that intentional?

maybe its just a low quality jpg or gif or whatever it was. besides, you can hardly notice.

you know for an image like this you may just wanna get rid of the eq bars all together, but leave highly transparent buttons for the on/auto/presets.

yea thats what i thought too...do u think i should still have the sliders though? only problem is theyre gonna b square...

In reference to the EQ sliders - I had an idea!

I tried to explain it in this post but I couldn't
so I edited your picture to show you what I was thinking

the eq sliders should animate somehow to rotate through the colors

I see now that the buttons would have to be changed to allow for that though - otherwise you'll see the background around the button not change and the rest of the bar does

maybe just pick one shade and fill them all in - but I definitely don't think you should leave off any part of the EQ

EQ bars... curved ends?

This is looking great. I've no idea about the character since I don't follow any anime. Sorry, but TV's not really my scene - especially not cartoons and such like.

Anyway, as I was saying, a very nice skin.

Anime is not necessarily the same as "cartoons"...heheh. Just 'cause something's animated doesn't always mean it's for kids. That also doesn't mean it's a choice between preschool stuff and porn, though. There -is- a range in between. XD
Anyway, I like the skin, definitely. I can't think of anything specific or useful to say, though, so, uh, yeah.

I know. I was just saying that I don't watch many cartoons and I watch no anime at all. :D

Well, acctually, I had a better idea of the EQ, have it do a color change bar that hovers below the slider, and have the slider kind of a bullet shape, that way there's no choppiness to the button and you get a nice round effect. But take precaution, I'm still a noob who's only made 1 unpublished skin.

Very large sig, you have to shrink it down a bit.

I don't know a single thing about anime (except maybe cowboy bebop, does that count?) - but I really like the color scheme and overall design of this skin - feel free to use other ideas on the EQ Sliders - I think the main problem with them is going to be the animation/matching of the slider button - and if you don't watch cartoons thats kewl but you're missing out :D

I can tell you without even bothering to download it.

I'm betting you used white in the top 32x32 square area on the mikro.bmp area didn't you?

And as we all know, white in this area defines transparency for the rest of the skin, if you dont want transparent areas, dont put white in that 32x32 area.
