Winamp For Pocket PC!!
 

There are currently no plans to port winamp to the PPC, but I personaly wouldn't rule out the possibility. Don't expect anything until the smoke clears from winamp3 though... Nullsoft has a critical staff shortage.

The devs (Brennan, I think) have actually weighed in on this one (in Winamp3 Development forum). Basically, if you send them PocketPCs to play with, it might get built. :)

What are PPC's?
Are they smaller than Notebook Computers? I wouldn't want to use one, if you can't do much use with one (like use Winamp to play mp3's. I'd go for a notebook computer instead.

PPC's Are Pocket PC's. They are like Palm Pilots, but run a modified version of Windows. They are extremely handy for schoolwork, and, I assume, since so many people buy them, Buisness. I for instance, have a Cassiopeia E-125, which runs Windows Poccket PC. It has a mono speaker, and a headphone jack, but I have to use Min. Media Player for playing Mp3's. I think that if Winamp was ported to PPC, it would be a huge sucess. But thats just me...

That would be a good idea, it could be a replacement mp3 player. Stupid Intel, and Rio stealing the computer's way to listen to mp3's from Winamp. Portable PPC's would be the rage at my school. At least I think so in the computer mind.;)

Yes, a replacement Mp3 player, but also, so, so much more...
They run Word, Excel, and lots of games, for when the droning voice of your US History teacher gets to be too much...

I need to get a PPC soon. Also a HDTV, and a Notebook Computer. I better note that for next year's C-mas wish list.:D :) ;) :p

If you don't care about CompactFlash ports, get a Compaq Ipaq. If you want a Beutiful screen, and CF ports, get a Cassiopeia E-125 or E200...

I hate Compaq. But I rather get an IBM ThinkPad (Notebook Computer) when I can cough up the money for one. PPC, IBM. HDTV...RCA. I'm a big worldwide brand name buyer.
