Aussie Toaster Biscuts or English Muffins
Which do you prefer, pick from the poll above and post a reason why if you have one.
I for one prefer the Aussie Toaster Biscut since they are softer and have a bit more flavor. |
"Their much softa then those hahd engl'sh things"
|
What in the name of Mike the Llama is an Aussie Toaster Biscuit?
|
Ok...I voted for English Muffins.
Love em and eat em all the time with all sorts of stuff on them. Like butter, or butter and jelly, or butter and cinammon and sugar, or ham and swiss cheese, or whatever. Yum Yum. :D Never heard of Aussie Toaster Biscuits. What are these you speak of??? |
Like to ask that same question myself.
Anything softer than an English Muffin would have to be raw dough. The reason they appear to have less taste is because you spread the damn things with Vegimite, instead of the one, the only, the real, accept no imitations, Marmite. UJ |
From now on please don't vote unless you KNOW what an Aussie Toaster Biscut tastes like or at least what it is.
I am also very disappointed that more of you don't know what they are. Maybe Rocker needs to slap you guys. Aussie Toaster Biscuts are BISCUTS (WOW REALLY?). They are around the same size as an English Muffin but they are softer. I think they have a better taste as well. In other words ATBs are the Australian equivalent to the English Muffin. So with that said DONT VOTE UNLESS YOU HAVE TASTED BOTH. It is incredibly bad when you vote for something just because you haven't had the other. You might actually end up loving the ATBs twice as much. Thats what happened to me. |
Now that I know...I will run to the grocery store
and see if they have Aussie Toaster Biscuits. If so I'll give them a try. Think they sell them here in cow country Oklahoma? :) |
Actually I am not sure. I live in Seattle which is on the West Coast obviously and we tend to get a lot more things from New Zealand and Australia than other places in the US. So I really don't know where they sell them. I was thinking about that earlier. Oh yeah New Zealand Apples are tasty, of course Washington Apples are the best.
