Sorry to hear that Phish, maybe you should just get away for awhile and think about it before you make a "final" decision. You are an important member of this community, if it means anything- I DO care that you are unhappy with this place and want to leave. There are ups and downs as with everything; but be patient, things will get better. Please do reconsider your decision before it is truly final. If you really never want to step foot in here again, then best of luck with everything that you do. Take care of yourself, man. :hang:

Considering your "exploits", you should be sitting in a corner and remain silent instead of making supposedly funny comments about everything and anything. You're really the last person here whom we should take lessons from.

Yes, OK, so I know I'm being rude, and this has been said to death. But I haven't had my say, so I will, so there.

I think it is TOTALLY INEXCUSABLE what has/is/will be happened (you know what I mean) to these forums. I have been a member for 12 months, and have posted only 140 or so times, (I can't say I pay that much attention to my post count) but before that I hung around for a good few months.

Now we all know that this site is, in effect, owned by AOL. Therefore there is NO WAY that people will be able to say/do exactly what they want. There are forums where you can go to do that. Mostly they are not owned my massive multinational corporations.

IMHO, most or all of the problems in this forum are due to PERSONAL differences between moderators and 'Senior Members', 'Major Dudes' etc etc, in other words the people who have actual or percieved seniority in this place.

Now the reason for this is that an AOL-owned discussion forum is being run by volunteers who have no official standing with the owners of the forum. Add to this all the arsing around with 'I'm a Super Mod', 'I've got CP and You Haven't' and so on, and what do you get? Total fucking anarchy.

The way to solve this is to have some CLEARLY DEFINED and UNBREAKABLE RULES yes that's RULES about exactly what may and may not happen, what is and is not acceptable. And the people (or person) to enforce these rules should have the power to enforce them. In fact, in my opinion, ONE person, appointed however, should have absolute power. Then there would be no stupid power struggles or cocking around.
Also, you should either be a 'Member', a 'Guest', a 'Moderator' or an 'Admin'. No stupid custom titles or 'Major Dude' shite. It means nothing and causes more trouble than it's worth.

I am by no means pointing any fingers here, i'm just giving my honest opinion.

This post has already gone on for far longer than is healthy, so i'll leave you with this.
