Winamp\Logitech Itouch Fix

For those of you who use the logitech Itouch keyboard software and dont have the option to select a media player I have made a reg file that sets winamp as the default player for your media keys. The file can be downloaded via this link or you can make the file yourself.

Just copy and paste the following lines into a text file and rename it anything you like with a reg extention. (myexample.reg) Then double click it and enjoy! :D

I take no responsibility if this messes up your pc in anyway! It worked for me and I thought I should share this. And, as always, dont run or do ANYTHING you're unsure about! Better to be safe than sorry.

code:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Logitech\iTouch\CurrentVersion]
"iTouchName"="iTouchWin"
"ScanMailClients"=dword:00000000
"iTouchCFName"="Logitech iTouch Configuration"
"Play Key Pressed"=dword:00000001
"MediaPlayer"="\"E:\\WINAMP\\WINAMP.EXE\""

Well.. for sure you'd have to change the path to wherever you installed Winamp.

Also, what I did was this:
Install Logitech iTouch software. Then do a reg. search and find itouch. You'll find some keys with mediaplayer and stuff.. You can change this to work with Winamp.

There's a pretty good explaination somewhere.. actually, do a search in the WA3 ... The Discussion forum and well, actually, just search for my very first post! :) That's what this was about.
