Color scheme help...

Hey guys I need your opinion on something. I'm finally getting some time to make my programming page on my website and I'm in a bit of a dillema about what color scheme I should use.

Things I need colours for are:

-Scrollbar (so I can change it in CSS)
-background of page
-text colour
-link colours (active, visited, and inactive)

Thanks for any and all help guys! (and gals ;))

<pet hate> Please, please, leave the scrollbars how they are meant to be! Please! </pet hate>

Now i've got over that

I tend to prefer a darker background, usually grey or dark blue, with lighter text. And I also use contrasting colours for different parts of the page. I'd pos you a screenshot of my best effort in web design yet, but a) i can't be arsed and b) I doubt you're that interested anyway!
