wintel?
Am i the only one whose ever heard the term wintel? Or do i just hang out with really non-geeky friends? Or then again is it a term localized to the mac comunity?
BTW: Wintel= Windows & Intel (once that was the common PC combination, guess i should add winamd, lintel, and linamd) |
It gets used in the media every so often.
|
So i'm not nuts (well, in that respect anyway)
atleast someone else has heard it |
i heard it once. and all i had to say to him was: 'whatthe?'
(that was a lot funnier in me head) |

Are you making fun of my simplicity?
|
i`ve heard of it...kinda...maybe...no
|
I've heard of it before, they used it alot back in the PentiumII days when Intel had no real competition from the K6 and K6-2's. Wintel boxes were pretty much the standard for everything:P
Not so is the case anymore. Thank god for that! |
