It killed my beta 2.5 as well. We should probably wait for beta 3 before installing it.:) Unless PP is having a colossal joke with us... :cool:

All go to bed. If Beta 3 is released, it'll still be there in the morning. And hey - it's still Beta. I could understand the excitement if this was the final release.

Some of us breathe for a new beta release. I don't think I just speak for myself.

The reason we post on the winamp forums is because we love winamp. This means that we are excessively interested in new releases, even betas. Although personally I'm waiting for 2.79, not beta 3 (I'm just moonlighting from GD :)), I well understand the fever pitch of excitement that precedes any new release (the rumours! The misinformation! The tantalising hints!). It's great.

FACT: The first post asking (begging) for beta 4 will happen less than 6 hours after beta 3 comes out.

the first post asking for beta 4 codenames will be out 1 minute after release. fact.

Heck, why wait until Beta 3 is out?
