not really a leak - it was looking like i would be offline when beta3 comes out so i put the new wa3plugz setup in zips. DO NOT install it. DO NOT even download it until beta3 comes out, because Brennan might have a bad day and change the SDK again. these plugins work only with current build (#465) which is considered beta3 RC (but so was #464, and the sdk got changed since that one).
also, looks like most of wa3plugz stuff will be in beta3 setup already.

Has beta 3 lived up to all the hype?

Yesturday I watched a DivX movie on it, played around with the config window, opacity and colour controls a good bit.

Its good enough for me:up:

Crashed twice in two days....hmmmmm....not good

But then again it has allmost all the features, i've
been longing for... now all i need is id3 support
and fullscreen video - then im happy

so im not disapointed, but definantly not overwhealmed either.
- they like it at betanews though

Btw.: I have a big problem, it`s may be a bug. The MetaDB dont`t read the genre out of the mp3 files. Does anybody have the same problem??? Or I`m alone with that???

All mp3 loaded in th DB: and "***Sorted by Genre" is still empty :mad:

it still crashes on a consistent basis for me (every 8-9 hours or so...) ... as far as I can tell it's nothing I'm doing

Which is perfectly fine; I know it's a beta and isn't supposed to be working perfectly. Just means I won't be using it: I'm pretty lazy when it comes to mp3 players, and restarting the thing every 9 hours is too much for me :D

It works good for me, not perfectly, but it's just that I havent seen the whole thing inside out :p

btw, we've got around 60 days to wait for next beta so I won't take everything at day 1 :D
