me too, passed the whole test, and as i was getting to the parking lot the tester gave me the paper that says i passed. As he gave me the paper i was so excited i drove through the stop sign to get into the parking lot. He ripped it up on the spot

Lil vixen: it's nice to meet you to, and the same goes to Ian

lil vixen 31st January 2002 04:34

ouch spiffed that sucks.
- it took me 5 times to pass my test way back when ha
i did great until they asked me to paralel park.
i screwed that up big time so i just drove around for 5 yrs with out a license until i could pass.
now along time later i can not get into a car with out someone pissing me off.
im banned from driving on sundays n holidays due to people who piss me off.
i have gotten into a few uhm squabbles

Ian the Korean 31st January 2002 04:35

I'm very pleased to meet all of you too. By the way Spiffed, the restaurant at the end of the universe is one of my favorite series.

lil vixen 31st January 2002 04:38

its nice to meet you as well Ian,
uhm ok now imma ask what restuarant series?
-lost again :(

Spiffed 31st January 2002 04:39

well, round here they conduct spot checks too often to drive w/o a license

and the hitch-hikers guide to the galaxy was deffinitley a great series. By far the best of Douglas Adams (may he rest in peace) serieses (what is the plural of series?)

Spiffed 31st January 2002 04:42

http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/hitchhikers/

There's a series of books and a radio play too

Ian the Korean 31st January 2002 04:42

It's just one of the greatest book series of all times! Excellent British humor.:D

lil vixen 31st January 2002 04:43

series.
ahh its a book!!!!
god im so in the dark

Spiffed 31st January 2002 04:44

yeah, it was sort-of a cult classic amungst geeks for quite a while. I'd imagine it still is

lil vixen 31st January 2002 04:47

next time i go to barnes n nobles i look into it.
i love to read but it has to really appeal to me

i did read harry potter though aha
i recommend those to everyone and anyone of all ages.

Spiffed 31st January 2002 04:50

i watched the movie, it didn't look too bad (no idea how it relates to the book). But i'll have to wait to wrestle the book off of a freind before i can read it. Too cheap/poor to actually buy it.

lil vixen 31st January 2002 04:55

i havent seen the movie yet i heard it was awesome n pretty much to the first book
and yea they are mucho bucks which sucks because the ones not out yet will be in hard cover not soft n more money on top of that,
i do know someone who downloaded them 1-4
try that
it worked for him lol
but no matter what get them they are awesome!

Spiffed 31st January 2002 04:59

hmm, warez books, never even thought of that. or maybe i have and i'm too bloody tired to remember. argh, so tired need sleep.

/me falls asleep on keyboard

lil vixen 31st January 2002 05:03

lol i can honestly say i have never done that in 4 yrs of being online.
i passed out drunk once or twice though.

Ian the Korean 31st January 2002 17:15

Hi! I was so tired I ended up falling asleep on my keyboard too. It can leave some really nasty marks on your face :igor:

I thought the Harry potter books and movie were both excellent. I liked the Lord of the Rings movie better though. Better yet was the book series. I read through all three of them on the last weekend of christmas break.

EXAMS ARE OVER!!!! YEAH!!!!:D

lil vixen 31st January 2002 17:18

i am now currently reading the Lord of The Rings,.
i liked Harry Potter better by far!

Ian the Korean 31st January 2002 17:31

WHAT?!?!?! (cry of indignation)

I...I...I...Jus...Just...Don't...Understand! The lord of the rings is awesome! Sure it starts a little slow, but that is to build the characters! Harry Potter was good, but can not compare to the lord of the rings (movie or other wise):blah:

Merlin 31st January 2002 17:57

Forgive me for saying this but it has to be said.

WTF IS ALL THIS CRAP?

lil vixen 31st January 2002 17:59

ack!

Ian the Korean 31st January 2002 18:01

Merlin, I'm afraid you just had to be there...or you could just go back and read through the first page:D

Spiffed 31st January 2002 18:23

yeah the thread sorta mutated from it's original topic. I was suprised when i read the first post again

Merlin 31st January 2002 18:26

Yes, and I didn't even read any of it after the first post on this page.

Ian the Korean 31st January 2002 19:21

Whatever it was This discussion is better off without! I haven't laughed so hard in my life!:D
