why are the dots gray
1 Attachment(s)
I'm trying to make the analyzer peak dots green and I can't figure out why they're gray can you tell me what I need to change? the last line in my viscolor.txt file says
0, 255, 0 // 23 = analyzer peak dots |
I don't know why it's doing that but why don't you try changing it to
1,254,1. Maybe winamp doesn't like the maximum and minumum values. Who knows? I certainly don't. This will barely change the color. You won't even be able to tell. Hope that helps. :p |
didnt work. thanks for answering though
|
try making sure there is a comma and space after each then two spaces before the slashes like this:
11, 128, 245, // 23 = analyzer peak dots |
yeah, you need to put commas (,) in the end of each line. who have deleted them ?

didn't work either...maybe Winamp just doesn't like me I dont know
|
try to get file from some working skin and modify it
|
You could do that or just re-download the base skin and take the Viscolor.txt from it. Have you tried other colors? Do they work? Is your Viscolor.txt in the right folder? Is the skin you are making in a subfolder of skins? Did you save the Viscolor.txt. Did you press F5 to refresh Winamp after your changes. Just brainstorming here.

Viscolor.txt isn't supposed to have the blank line between the spectral analyzer and oscilloscope colour info.
Try loading this viscolor.txt ;) |
Ren, I just noticed your sig.:weird:
|
I added the 0,32,0 line to the end and it worked, thanks for helping.
Can someone tell me why I had to do that because I needed a 25th line in my viscolor.txt file to make it work. The tutorial says you need 24 lines and the viscolor.txt file that comes with the base skin has 24 I don't get it. |
Aha. I wrote this a while ago (back when I was actively and innocently making a great deal of skinner.exe skins with a little personal touch), and have since forgotten about it. It's always good to write things down...
