Aha! That's why you wanted the manual for a '73 blazer! Buy one, cheapskate! :p

My ideal mode of transport is an Alfa 156. Modded heavily; lowered, 18" alloys, pearlescent black paintwork, smoked windows, that sort of thing.

Unfortunately I currently have to use the Arriva Motor-Omnibus Service. (Well, some of them are so damn old...)

LOL :D i couldnt use it so its not realy why i wanted it. the dash is out of a 75' the distributor is pointless wich was after 73' and realy none of it is factory (thanx to some stupid backyard mechanic)
so in all honesty i just wanted to see if anyone could find it.
that type of stuff is out there its just realy hard to find.:p

Not real comfy or luxurious, but it hauls ass. :D

n_ick2000 5th February 2002 00:37

I just got a Huffy Bike that really sucks. I can't get a real car until 16.

In the mean time, I get my parents to drive me places (1996 toyota corolla and a 1992 plymoth voyager) The car I want to get it the Dodge Intrepid.

Me, with my ride, taken in May of last year... it's been fixed up, new paint, etc.
It gets me around.

Ian the Korean 5th February 2002 01:25

walk or hitchhike until I fix up my POS 91' Bonneville and get a license to kill...I mean drive, drive...very soon all those who crossed me will be very sorry soon...:D

rm' 5th February 2002 01:29

I travel by foot, and when the wind really picks up, I travel by air ;)

Honestly, I do. There is an apartment building right next and an open field next to it to the sidewalk along my route of daily travel, and I'm not sure if you car drivers know this but I'm sure the pedestrians do, high rise buildings right along the roadside generate very high winds, as do open fields, so on very windy days, the wind gets amplified in that spot. Once, I was literally swept right off my feet.

Ian the Korean 5th February 2002 01:32

I'll have to try that!:D
We've got some serious wind blowing around here...now to find a building tall enough...

Psycho Puppet 5th February 2002 01:36

I am currently using a Toyota 89' Tercel...so bascially my mode of transportation is car. :)

Spiffed 5th February 2002 01:41

I stand corrected to my erlier post (sortof), in thinking it over the most frequent ATTEMPTED means of transport for myself and my friend is his 87 Mazada 323. Which means our actual means of transport is walking (i think the car's started EASILY, as in no pushing, twice in the past month)

henry3k56 5th February 2002 01:49

Mini-van, car, and walking. I don't drive yet, will soon in 1/2 year.:D I'm waiting till one of my friends starts driving to go with him. Driving school is now boring.;)

PhotoFx 5th February 2002 01:54

feetses :) i'm in college, and thus i'm broke. oh, and the bus, since cu gives us a bus pass with tuition.

Huehuetenango 5th February 2002 02:43

i walk, take the ttc, get rides from friends or bike

usually walk or bike, though, when the weather permits

PhotoFx 5th February 2002 02:48

ttc?

Huehuetenango 5th February 2002 02:49

toronto transit commision
trains/buses/street cars

grossly overpriced, usually slow, but still ok

PhotoFx 5th February 2002 02:50

gah, i used to live there in 89, 90, and part of 91, and i didn't remember.... course, i was in kindergarten.. or the equivalent (montesory)... i'd say rtd here, but i'm not sure htat would make sense, so i said bus.

Ian the Korean 5th February 2002 02:51

Ours was going to be FART, until it was voted down...
Fredericksburg Area Rapid Transit

insomniac 5th February 2002 03:00

Right now, all I have is my dirt bike & my ATVs,but my mom drives me where I need to go in an Infiniti J30 or a Cadillac CTS. Both of those drive incredibly smooth, and I love them to death, but they are waaaay to elegant for a 16 year old, so when I turn 16 I`ll either get a used Range Rover and fix it up to go offroading, or a Mustang Cobra Bullitt and just do a few mods. It`s hard to decide which one to get because 1. I live in the south and everyone has a truck of some sort, and 2. I want a car, a fast car. I love to offroad, but it`s not as fun in a truck compared to an ATV. Why? BECAUSE YOU (YOURSELF) DON'T ACTUALLY GET MUDDY! Mud is the best part! And in a truck with the windows rolled up, you don`t get any. Therefore, I might just screw the truck idea and get the Mustang. BUT, I do go hunting and camping alot, so I need a truck for that. Ah hell, I`ll get the Rover. :p

stttafffy 5th February 2002 05:43

i walk. today it was so fucking freexing outside, and i didnt have money to do laundry, so i had to go outside in 25 deg F weather and walk for a few miles while it was snowing. it wasnt fun, and i just reminded myself i need to get my shit out of the washing machine.

1964 Plymouth Belvedere 4-door, 1989 Ford Escort GT 5-speed manny tranny, and when those two don't work, take my mom's 1996 Ford Mustang GT (automatic tho :( ).

BTW: My scanner isn't hooked up to my home PC, plus my home PC has nil bandwidth, so sometimes I can't even get a purely text thread to display in under 1 hour!:hang:

Are you kidding? Mercs, beamers all last for ever. It's Italy that's had problems in the past with build quality, not europe. :hang:
