MS office 2000/xp
 

my office2k cd is now officially fux0red :) will not read at all, except as an audio cd.

can some help me fix this? no, i'm not asking for another copy of office2k, or a copy of officeXP, i just wanna know how to fix it :)

is the cd scrached? there are these things that will actually remove scraches from cds. You could try that.

That happens to me because of Windows Media Player, reads everything as CD. If you read my thread "Computers Hate Me" WMP is the culprit.

no the cd isn't scratched...

i will read that thread, but all other cd's work fine. and winamp plays the audio cd, not WMP.

did anyone actually catch my drift? (if there was one...)
