jobs and life

I am in this dilemma right now, I got a masters of science in television and radio programming and management and a bachlors of science in communications media studies and I am making less than a cleaning woman. This is insane, I can babble all day about the future and analyze what's going on in the tech sector but I don't know where to turn to find a better job. I am basically a grunt right now. I have even given up calling myself a cog in a machine. I live in NY and it's really hard to find a better job because of those stupid script kiddies flooding their resumes in hotjobs.com and the like. DAMN! Anyways I will go back to listening to FLAC files now. l8r

:p

That really sucks, and I feel for you.;) I am still happily unemployed, seeing as how I am still in high school and live at home.:D

If these kids are getting jobs from hotjobs.com why not post your resume there? You never know what would happen :)

Look on the bright side of things, at least you have a job.

Where in NY do you live? I am from there.

Figure out what you want to do, then flood companies with your resume. Call some head hunter companies, they love types like you. Great education does not guarantee a great job, so you will have to market yourself for a while. Focus on your talents and skills, not on your lack of experience.

If you keep knocking on enough doors, someone will finally open one!

Good Luck!

heh, flood microsoft with your resume
Actually I emailed Microsoft Corporate office today after some smoking and told them to make a linux distro. I told them I would never buy another version of Red Hat again. If they don't hire me and build a building here in NY just for me I don't know what the world is coming to.

Alright, now would be a good time to start wouldn't it?

1. My name is Steve.
- Mijn naam is Steve.

2. I cannot find a job.
- Ik kan geen baan vinden.

3. I want to live in Amsterdam.
- Ik wil in Amsterdam wonen.

4. ...must....stop...this..

Now how about some of the useful vocabulary, like the stuff about weed and hookers?
