Nice beta 3! and Logitech/RemoteCenter
 

Great job on winamp3 beta3! Looks like it may become my default player from now on... :)

One request: Please don't change the functionality of the play button and how shuffle works. Hitting the play button now results in going to some totally different song instead of the begginning of the current song. Also, I like the ability to go backwards and forwards through my shuffled playlist - Winamp2 has it perfect and I don't want to see Winamp3 act more like MusicMatch (which I hate). :(

For users who have a logitech iTouch keyboard with multimedia controls, get the Winamp3 (and other) entries for the players.ini file here: http://www.geocities.com/bjay125/Logitech_iTouch.txt

For users with Creative RemoteCenter and an IR remote, you can download the key for Winamp3 I made. Put it in the RemoteCenter KeyMap directory... you will see many other keys there. The row of buttons right below the numbers are stop/play/pause in that order. Also the next track and previous track buttons on the next row work. Then you can use the jog/shuttle thing at the buttom to fast forward/rewind and volume up/down (or use the standard volume keys to change master volume). http://www.geocities.com/bjay125/BaseWindow_RootWnd.key

Both of these files are just text files (no viruses)!

actaully... for slightly BETTER proformace with SB-Live! and SB-Auddigy remotes, just use RM-X. A Plug-in for WA2 and component for WA3 specifically designed for the remote. Plus it will soon have custom support for Microsoft Keyboards (we are actaully working on this one as i type.. itll be ready REALLY soon!!) Everything located at darkain.8m.com

Thanks for the link, its bookmarked. A really nice piece of software this is! :) After adding in the controls for fast forward amd rewind, it works just like the key I provided, only you don't have to select winamp from the remotecenter software first, and no annoying green flashing box. :up:
