Thanks for answering! I'm new to the forums, and I really hope I'm doing this correctly (as in, I hope this reply gets to you)...
White noise is a "combination" of different (ie; all) sounds grouped together (the static between AM radio stations is white noise). If you have some type of spectrum analzer (or other "picture" of your sound), white noise can be used as a baseline, or "pure flat" tone, to adjust EQ's and similar items to achieve a flat response. I want to try using it thusly, if I can find a way to get the signal into my system. There's a plugin somewhere in the "general" p/ins page on this site that claims to produce white noise - it produced NO noise on my system.
Any ideas?

Don't worry, your reply got to me..
I am not (vreey) keen on english (sofisticated) technical terms(as u can see I'm from Romania & I learn Eng. at School) , but from what I understood , white noise is that hiss on the radio which you hear if u're out of the radio station's range right?...
