I have a friend at college who is a computer information systems major and one of his favorite hobbies is hacking websites; not to sabotage but merely to see if he can. Anyways he has been trying to gain member access without actually joining www.wireimage.com It is supposed to be one of the hardest ones to crack. For several months he has been trying his darndest to break it but to no avail. So me being the idiot I am, made him a bet that I could gain access without joining the site by the end of the semester. $50 rides on it and my deadline is mid May. I took the bet because I knew somebody here would know how to do it. Was I wrong? Please help.

If the bet is *just* that you get member access without joining, and not that you have to *hack* your way in, then getting a member's info would be the easiest way to do so. Use some creative social engineering on someone relatively clueless with an account.

Otherwise you probably just lost your bet.

when you say hack, you mean break into the db and add an account?(what else could it be?). you do not have a chance. Neither does he. Unless you pay someone (namley the female listed above - no, not bill gates, he proclaims he is not female)

if i were you, i'd just run a brute force program (access diver works good) on the site. i'm not going to give you links, or even tell you to do it. but thats how i'd do it.

Ok i've made a request in a password forum so I'll just sitback and wait for someone to crack it, they're usually good :)
