what the hell? how come i never noticed that posts:9763+ was part of your profile? i really thought thats how many posts you had! i even asked you how you got that many posts in such a short time and you just said "you dont want to know." i always wondered why your number of posts had that little + and why it never changed. i can't believe i never saw the real number of posts right under it.

All of those names would be kewl simon...i can never think of a good name for any of my skins when im making them, I usually end up thinking of a name while im bug testing.....then put the name in and bug test some more...its a wonder all my skins arent called grrrrrr :p

It's running! I've all the .bmp's done, except for the MB and AVS, and I have to do the cursors.

One question, should I do a MikroAmp skin? And if so, how, what's the .bmp called?

Note: Check out the custom TEXT.bmp. I spent a whole 10 minutes on that, which is amazing. Usually I just fill in the stuff that's already there with my colour of preference.

Thanks to whoever said they had Connect-X in their rotation - hey it's a whole page back - you don't expect me to find out do you.

10 mins on TEXT.BMP - that's minute - I have spent hours and hours on that BMP once, although the shortest time creating a new one is 10mins for me - I had it in Verdana and I had to move each letter one pixel right coz there were 2px between each not 1px.

Nice skin - definite download. Mikro is a must as is MB and the damn AVS grrrr. Anyways.

All right. I was hoping my custom text would be used as the Playlist Entry text as well, but once I wrote up my PLEDIT.txt, it vanished. :(

So now my custom text is only used in the PL Windowshade and for the KBPS and KHZ count.

MB and AVS skinned, MikroAmp included, cursors. No MBinner, don't know what the hell it does. Doesn't it display something when you open the MB in a certain skin with the skin's "MBinner"? :weird:

also, how do you get trans on the mikroamp?

The all your base thing comes from a badly translated Japenese video game called Zero-X or something. People noticed the bad translation, and how the people in the videos said "Someone set us up the bomb" and "Hello, gentlemen, you are on the way to descruction... make your time." But, the most significant line was the All Your Base line.

That's where it comes from.

As for the transparencies in MikroAmp... you see the big black square in the corner in the MikroAmp for TemplateAmp? That is the full window size for Mikro in Large Mode. Any areas coloured white in that area will be transparent. No regions here. Anything coloured won't be. Simple as that.

Note: there are no transparencies for Small Mode. Only Large Mode.

Also, bottom right pixel defines transparent colour for tray icons. And it's best to make your icons in 16 colours so that they're compatible with Win95/98/Me. To make sure they're in true Windows 16 colours paste them into a new image and in PSP go Colours... Decrease Colours to 16... then choose Windows colours. Then paste back.

One more post and Skinme! becomes a "Major Dude". lol

Um, it's not letting me publish this thing. Once I'm done filling out everything and attaching the .wsz, I click "Publish" and it just - simply - refreshes the Publish page. Then I went back to the Developer's area and my skin wasn't there, not even under "UNPUBLISHED."

What's going on??

I was getting the same thing over and over when i submitted my third skin, I tried again a little while later and it worked...I never worked out if it was my isp being silly or the winamp server...but it was sorta annoying having to re-type everything in...notepad to the rescue...:p

I'll try it again today.

Updated. Fixed some bugs.

One bug I can't fix: it's in the PL. When in Windowshade, I press the close button, and it messes up. I don't know how to fix this. The WS button in Windowshade works, and the WS and Close button when not in Windowshade.

Grr. Oh well. I'll still submit it.

Yeah, the PL bug is unavoidable. It's because it's fine until you press the button then the unpressed state is in a different position to the one before you pressed it. Yucky.
