blue print of an idea
 

check this out its just an idea so......
i came to skin love ver 2 for some... kind of theme, color, and things of sort

but this is the final shape just color changes now

I guess just try to resist the urge to make it grey, thats the trap i always seem to fall into...

I think that a few different shades of blue for the main part would look nice...

when i put in adobe i will shad it i lil more give it the 3d look

This'd look real sweet in Orange and Black I reckon,or yellow. But I think high contrast is the way to go.

I dont think it really needs to be 3d, although if by shading it you mean making it look like several 2d layers on top of each other that would look really kewl...:up:

P.s. are you planning on making the black areas transparent??

sorry i never got that far i even gave up skinning that other NEW PLAYER before i even tried
so its not getting it but that will prob. be a good idea

I don't like the cyan. I think the yellow would be good, as Skinme said. A golden yellow and a dark navy blue.

um like most people have said already the cyan and black have been used so many times before it gets depressing. I dont see why you shouldnt try some other colour range, like black and yellow, with a tinge of another colour for support. that would seem like something newer, something that no one can picture from another skin.

I like the red/yellow combination, could look better than the blue..and yes i agree there are a lot of blue/black skins out there....

By the way i was just curious about the transparency...it might work ok with this skin, tho it'd be really easy to overdo it...

:D Looks nice....but it is a bit hard to give a definate oppinion yet...i like the the close/minimise and eq/pl buttons...really easy to read...

Maybe try the red/yellow color combo tho...the blue is a bit bright.....

Im wondering how u will make the eq and playlist keep the same style??

Hmm...the overall style of the eq is ok...but the space between the gain control and the eq bars is a little bare....compared to the main window anyway...

How about trying it with the red/yellow color combo???

ok i'll work on the eq styling a bit more ,but about the other colors:hang: i can't get them to look right:hang: look for your self
the only colors i'm good at is black red & blue

The yellow/red combo still doenst look too bad tho....maybe swap around the red and yellow and see how that looks....

I love the blue too black dog! i don't know if i'll have too much time i starten' a new job soon 6o+ hrs /week kind of need the money these days not a kid no more :)

i hear ya! time is hard to find around here too, but skinning is so addictive, you make time! for example, it is 12:45 am and i'm supposed to be studying for my history test. then i took some time off to visit the forum and start my radiohead skin. you will always find time for skinning. even if it means failing a test:p

The blue looked great...

but if its not workin then go back to the blue...
