Update: I had to change the EQ bars, as they wouldn't work because I couldn't make the sliders transparent, so you'd see an odd large white block.

Progress: Done Titlebars, EQ_ex, must do MB and AVS. Grr.

Question: could someone make me some cursors for this skin? I'm too damn lazy and I don't have a good cursor editing program.

I recon if you can make a skin like that with mspaint then cursors

Not sure about free cursor editors....ive only been using microangelo for mine...but im sure there are some out there...try a google search, youre bound to find something that you can use...

Hmm, I dunno, but usually, the more I've completed a skin, or the longer I work on it, the less I like it. It starts getting old so fast. Well, hopefully people will like it on www.winamp.com, if it ever gets published. :hang:

I get the same with my skins, when i get the robnation skin finished it'll be my fourth full skin...about the 17th or 18th that ive started...as i tend to lose interest or get a new idea b4 i finish them...but that does sorta keep the quality of my finished skins up there....except for my first (should be published any day now) cos its a bugfest...lol

I've scrapped a few things, but not many, actually.

just a small thing, the player controls in the playlist would be better i think if it had the same symbols as the cbuttons, and a little lighter, not all black. they stick out too much as they stand.

All right, if I don't put in the Balance.bmp because I got it to work without it, (Volume.bmp does the balance for you, but if there are mess-ups you have to do the balance) will they reject my skin or downrate it because it's missing a file?

Latest version is 5. You can get cracks anywhere orjust downright download the whole program. Not that I could condone it.

No - balance.bmp is an alternative to volume.bmp. If it's not present baseskin doesn't show - volume.bmp does - so no grounds for star removal.

Skin is nice, but i have a tiny suggestion:
I would put thin, horizontal lines on the tileable pl part (the color should be only a bit darker or lighter, so that they don't stick out too much)

On the PL: the horizontal stretch tile for the bottom could do with some variation in the 4 thin horizontallines like to the left and right. Just some areas of the light gray would look nice.

Also the right vertical stretch tiles are a bit out of keeping with the rest of the skin on the right of the slider (the bit with the grey bg and the different length lines). Perhaps more whitespace and just some lines and dots here and there?

That would make it look even more repetitive, Skinme!. ;)

I tried all those things you suggested, really, and every variation led to breaks of pattern, so I made it as simple as I could.

Plus, I already submitted it after a lot of trial and error, and I'm too lazy to update, in fear of the database messing up again. :hang:

MSPaint didn't change til' WinME and even in that version it only supports .gif, .bmp and .dib.
