IE questions
 

i have a couple questions about IE 6. first, when someone attaches a bmp to there post, i can't view it. second, when a pic is bigger than the browser window, ie automatically scales it to fit.
anyone know how i can fix these problems?

I can't view BMP's either, they open in Paint.

For Image Resizing, go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced, scroll down to "Multimedia", and click on "Enable Automatic Image Resizing".

the bmp problem i think is somthing to do with cookies i have the same problem and the little red crossed out circle at the bottom of the browser appears when cookies are blocked double clip it and shows you the blocked cookies then you have an option to allow the cookie or change the security options.

just a beginner so dont know if the above is true.

if you move your mouse over the resized picture for about 3-5 seconds, it will give a button in the bottom right hand corner of the picture. click that button and it will be full size.
