Can you provide some more information?

For example, what type of files are you trying to play (CD, mp3, wav etc)?

When you click on any of these files with questionmarks in the playlist, do they play anyways, or do they just skip through the list?

Are all files affected this way, or just some??

Have you tried clearing the playlist and reloading it? Go to the bottom of the playlist and click on REM -> REM ALL to clear it, then go to ADD -> ADD DIR and select the folder in which you are sure taht your mp3s are stored to load them back into the playlist window. Do they play now?

Hmm, the only time I've heard of question marks appearing in the playlist window is when the filename is in another language where the letters are those other than in the english alphabet. Is this the case here?

naw, all the titles of songs i have are in english

By the way, all my mp3s , their icons turned into window media player icons, and when I tried to play them in WMP it said :

Cannot open 'C:\My Music\01 - Craig David - Born To Do It - Fill Me In.mp3'. Please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again.
