i just downloaded windows2000 and when i try to play music this pops up?!?!?!?!?

yer sound card dosent work with Win2k.

Either

a) find drivers for it.
b) go back to your previous OS.
c) get a Win2k compatable soundcard.

Downloaded win2000 wow.....wish I could do that in my Country....

I this has happened to two of my friends and the same thing worked:

1/ Go to Windows Update on your START menu and click Product Update.
2/ Let Microsoft's site scan your system for available udates
3/ Uncheck all options checked by default in the Critical Updates section
4/ At the bottom of the page you will see a section for Device Drives in there should be an option for "Sound Drivers"..check that one off only on the entire page.
5/ Download it and Restart your comp

umm...Malaysia is the center for bootlegging... i`m sure you could get it.

Thats the thing with 2000. If it doesnt like a progam / hardware etc it will not let you force it to work. it just wonat work at all.
