Help! Visualisations

I used to run a bunch of 3d vis in Win '98 at full speed, but since upgrading to XP the same plugins run at 1-2 fps... whats the deal? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

downloading suitable drivers for your display card usually helps

When reinstalling the drivers - go to your videocard manufacturers homepage and get them there - don't use the ones that come with XP, they are notoriously out of date and prone to causing problems such as yours. Also, update your directX version.

How didi you get your 3D Vis to come up in the first place. I have v2.79 and I can only get options for Vis but never 3D

you download them...from http://www.winamp.com

and access them from the visualization menu

Thanks for the replies...but I am using the latest detonator XP drivers from Nvidia...all my other programs that use direct3D or openGL seem to be fine.
