ODEC - Update
 

Well things are going along well with ODEC...I have been working on it steady. I am pretty sure in its current form it will do quite nice.. ther are transparencies / animations / and customer cursors. I have some more to do on the plstacks so I will not be showing it as of yet...the main/eq are the major aspects that I want to show...the buttons on the eqmain are closer to completion and should represent...a truer form. I will eventually switch all the buttons to the cbutton type that you see.

Not the most original concept, but i really like it, especially the eq.

Great skin jax, finish it so i can add it to my list of faves..:D

I don't like the text that says 'WinAmp' on the left of the Main. It doesn't fit. Another type of font might work, but I think you should get rid of it entirely.

Other than that, excellent.

I agree with Cleanup the 'Winamp' is kinda outtaplace.Other than that its :up:

its pretty good jax, maybe tone down that text a little and like i said before those cbutton design could look better

the cbuttons are a bit strange, but the longer i look at them the more i like the concept :D

Jax: Did you ever finish that robnation skin you were making??

hmm loads of feedback...

answers:

a) The winamp text on the left is to balance out the left side from the right...otherwise I'm lost @ how to balance it better.

b) robnation - its not complete and I haven't touched it in a bit...still there...I just do not know where to go with it.

c) peacemaker - the collab that you were doing is aces and I love the design you came up with.

d) cbuttons - these are pushbutton design that I feel are not to bad as far as they go...sure I'd like to add more detail etc...but, I'm content with them the way they are.

e) design explanation: a carry-over of the JaxxSkin that I did to produce a more functional and aesthetic version that the masses would enjoy. My main focus is on the eq / pl...however, as stated prev I am going to create a similar effect for the eq/pl.

f) I am providing a .gif of the cbutton row to give you an idea of the anim.

g) if you want to complete the robnation skin atmo you are most certainly welcome to have it.

Thanx for the offer about the robnation skin jax, but im gunna have to say no, our styles are completely different and i'd probably make a mess of it...

It did look cool tho...maybe you could finish it but not make it a robnation skin.

understandable...I don't know yet what I will do with the skin...it looks ok but, its a far cry from even my own typical. Perhaps, turning it over to forever again? So, we have another collab considering the ability for which she has shown on Devour.

Very nice looking skin. But you put it out here for comments I suppose, so heres mine. I think the blue is a little too drab or bland. Gives the skin a washed out or faded effect, guess I just like more intense colors. Good work!

are you using transparencies? (forgive me if you already said so)

as for robnation - I don't know what that is but I might be willing to work on it - wasn't there one before that you wanted me to work on? I'm not quite ready - I need to finish the red version of Entity - but I'll let you know cause I want to finish the red one up this weekend

i wont say much but i will say that the volume and balance text in the eq winshade dont quite fit in with the rest of the skin [the text being too large, especially when compared against the ODEC fancy text above it].

I love this skin - I'm trying to do something in white myself right now - have some fabulous ideas with no clue how to work them

still thinking about rustworks - thats the one that is fiery looking right? I probably could clean it up but I don't imagine I could improve it otherwise - you have my email - send me over the baseplates and images you have for it and I'll see what I can do - after all - I really did love the way Devour came out

Found a bug in the MB Buttons, and the EQ App. buttons. :weird:

When you press the Back button, the panel is stretched, and when you press the Open button, part of the refresh button glows as well.

App. Buttons: When you press the Close or WinShade buttons in the EQ, the close button goes all messed.

Wow! nice skin, its real light, everything is there, and its easy to use. Good stuff! Only case id use a purplish skin... lol

I will do something with both the vol and the bal
I will attempt to fix several bugs in the _— X areas, I see more than just the MB and EQ bugs - I also intend to bring down the contrast on the PL control buttons and WS control buttons - I don't think they should be black, they should match the darkest bluish gray color like on the EQ +20 0 -20, I'd like to also include an animation in the EQ bars, I think its easy acheived, and i'm not particularly fond of the pressed state of the Scroll bar on the PL either. I can live without the PL vis area, but I have a dimentional issue with the clutter bar (not something I'm able to fix)
if you look, it would appear that the clutterbar is attached to the bluish bar at the top, which actually goes "under" the white frame (border type area), but then the clutter bar doesn't go underneath at the bottom, it lays right on top. I would have no clue how to fix it because I don't know what was there previously.

I don't know - its early - let me give it some thought and I'll get back to you
