Missing cursor for Equalizer?
1 Attachment(s)
Hi. First of all, I want to apoligize for the length of this post. I wanted to be sure that you understood what I was talking about, and I got a bit wordy...
This isn't really a bug but a possible omission. I've been trying my hand at creating new skins, and I noticed that while there are cursor files for toggling the Windowshade mode for both the main window and the playlist, there is no such cursor for the equalizer. By way of example, I've attached a skin that illustrates this (the skin is one I've recently submitted for publishing). It has cursor files named Winbut.cur and Pwinbut.cur. When you point to the Windowshade buttons on the main window or on the playlist, the appropriate cursor shows up. In my example, the Windowshade icon, which is shown on the button, shows next to the arrow. But when you place the cursor over the Windowshade button on the equalizer, you don't get the same effect. Instead, you get the cursor that shows when you point at a titlebar (either Titlebar.cur or Ptbar.cur - I'm not sure which). This problem is not unique to my own skins, but applies to any skin, including the base skin. Try this with the base skin to see what I mean: With the base skin showing, point to the Windowshade button on the main window. You will see only the arrow, and nothing else. Now, move the pointer so it is on the word "Winamp" on the main title bar. You will see the arrow, and next to it will be a series of small arrows pointing up, down, left and right, all around a small dot. Now, move the cursor to the Windowshade button on the equalizer. You get the same cursor that you did when you pointed at the word "Winamp", instead of just the arrow by itself, like you did with the Windowshade button on the main window. Now, is this a problem in the program, or is there a cursor file that is missing that could be added in for the next release? I am using Winamp 2.79. Thanks in advance for any help. And again, my apoligies for the length of this post. I hope I didn't confuse anyone. :-) Jim |
